Installation

Not installable yet: the repository currently contains only a README and a license. Installation instructions will appear here once the Unity package is published.

Purpose

It discovers, loads, caches, and manages the 3D assets used by engine scenes. Scenes reference assets instead of embedding Unity-specific objects, and this package decides how an asset such as a chair, vehicle, tree, or wall module is loaded into Unity.

Usage

It is the bridge between asset metadata and actual Unity runtime objects: a scene object references an asset by ID, and this package resolves it.

Current state

  • README and roadmap only; no package code yet

Main features

  • Asset metadata and IDs
  • Local and remote loading
  • GLB/glTF and Unity prefab support
  • Caching, async loading, and unloading

Examples

  • Resolving the model for an object that references a chair asset
